I just finished installing Movable Type 4.0! It was a piece of fuck!
Welcome to my new blog powered by Movable Type. This is the first post on my blog and was created for me automatically when I finished the installation process. But that is ok, because I will soon be creating posts of my own! I just wanted to add that SixApart doesn't know the definition of the term "Release Candidate," and in relentlessly promoting their new product, they failed to mention that upgrading an existing MT installation, with an old database configuration and so forth, wasn't necessarily recommended. The fact that they didn't emblazon such a fact in big, bold, red letters just shows me that they don't typically tend to have the user in mind.
It's OK. As I get this shit back off the ground, I'll rarely think of them, too. So fuck that. Hope you assholes (and assholettes) like the new setup. I'll get it customized shortly.

Movable Type also created a comment for me as well so that I could see what a comment will look like on my blog once people start submitting comments on all the posts I will write.
